Plaza de Castilla

Today I decided to take in a little of the industrial, urban side of Madrid. And after walking around with my point and shoot, I stumbled upon a free exhibition of Dalí drawings that he did with Goya.  Did you know that Salvador Dalí did an Alka-Seltzer commercial?  All that surrealist thinking and contemplation demanded a cold beer.
Tonight I saw a great documentary with some friends about architect Norman Foster, and topped of the night with some  Spanish conversation, gastronomic education and a few glasses of great Rioja.  Now I want to go back out and re-take those half-conceived photos of mine.

Check out this link for a few teaser pics of today as well as some other recent solo trips around my immediate neighborhood. But first, why not click on the soundcloud link and hear some tunes while you look?
