Recommended Books and a Film

There occasionally comes a time when one is creatively inspired but has no willingness to write about it.  Now is one of those times.

What is wrong with sitting back and letting someone else do the thinking for you, guide you, whether through child-like tales of adventure, slow philosophical pondering or biting sarcastic humor?

The following is a small, and very recent, glimpse of artistic mini-ventures on my mental desktop at the moment, a collection that ponders trite themes like love, travel, devotion, friendship, death, happiness, hopelessness, sex, zombies, war, drug use, adventure and love (if I haven’t already mentioned it).
